About Harringay

Harringay, not to be confused with the London Borough of Haringey, has always been a melting pot of cultures, and to this day it’s one of the most diverse and cosmopolitan areas of North London. Harringay offers traditional two, three and four-bed terraces all the way through to modern builds. The famous ‘Harringay Ladder’ houses old Victorian terraces which have maintained their spacious interiors and traditional exteriors.

Take a walk down Green Lanes and you’ll experience first-hand the influences of Greek, Turkish, Cypriot and Kurdish influences that have helped shaped the area. Despite the bustle of Green Lanes, significant parts of Harringay are leafy, and this isn’t surprising given Finsbury Park and Alexandra Palace are just a stone’s throw away. However, it’s the close proximity to the schools, local businesses and restaurants that make it increasing popular with first-time buyers, young professionals and families wanting to stay close to the centre of London, yet keep that sense of community.

With the capital just a short tube ride away, and the likes of Wood Green to the north, Tottenham to the east, Manor House and Finsbury Park to the south, and Stroud Green and Crouch End to the west, Harringay is one of the most well-connected areas of North London, making it feel like a city within a city.
